It's been a while. What's new?
As soon as I get rid of the illness and hopefully all kneeproblems I will redo my Annual Training Plan. According to different types of fitness tracker I am far away from even make it to the startline without going into red. Let's see how I recover. The sad thing is I won't be able to make any progress compared to last season. The injury and illness have set me back and I lost all gains and hard work I put in since last fall. I probably will eye to be in a good shape this fall and hope there will be any cool races then.
Today is the third day I am home from work, braely able to make it out of bed with a crazy sore and painful throath. I kill the time with browsing gear that could be useful for my new cycling commuting career, I guess that's a sign of health? =)
- I have been injured for five weeks and now I am also down with the flu, this might end up with 7-8 weeks off the bike. This is the Sixth week with no proper training.
- I started a new job and I will therefor become a commuter as soon as my health is back on track. I'll be using a Verenti Technique (wiggle brand?) for my 80 km round-trip commute.
- I bought a ticket to Guatemala later this spring, I have my eyes on a "Clasica" and also Olympic Qualifications. But I am not so sure now with the injury and illness. Races ar in mid-May.
