Another race coming up next week. This one will mainly take part on the lowlands by the Pacific coast. It is ridiculously hot and humid down there, something I don't enjoy at all. There will be three stages with a total of 300 km and around 5 700 meters of climbing. Coming up to this race I will take a different approach to the tapering period leading into the race. My last taper was a bit of a shit show but this time I will have everything in my own hands and deal with all the planning myself. I will try to get some heat adaptation training in and already tomorrow I will try out the queen stage's HC climb. It finishes at 2 700 meters above sea level on the outskirts of some suburbs to the city where I live. So yes, I have tried the climb a few times and it's steep and never ending.
